The San Francisco Transit Police (BART) Officers Association website was recently breached by hackers who stole 100 names, passwords and addresses of police union members. Later, the group posted this sensitive information on Pastebin. 1GB of NATO Information Stolen by Hackers
Large hacker group, Anonymous, recently announced it accessed and stole approximately one gigabyte of data from NATO databases. This news was released only one day following the arrest by U.S. authorities of 14 individuals involved with the Anonymous attack on PayPal in 2010.
