On the other hand, Windows is usually distributed in just a few versions, with each one being extremely similar to the next. Since the Linux operating system is free, it can quickly and easily be installed on multiple Web servers and in multiple web hosting accounts without causing the hosting company or account holder to incur any additional costs. Thus, any funds that are allocated to the management and improvement of the web server's operating system can be devoted solely to the expansion and improvement of Linux, rather than simply maintaining it or purchasing a basic copy.
