Private Cloud Dedicated Hosting

Dedicated hosting is a form of hosting geared towards business owners that need serious server resources in a manageable package. There are many different types of dedicated hosting, however most people opt for managed hosting, as it provides a level of technical support and server administration that the average business owner is comfortable with.

Although unmanaged dedicated hosting plans are cheaper, they are not recommended for the average webmaster, as you actually have to manage the web server yourself. Once you have decided upon managed hosting, you then have even more decision to make. Do you want fully managed, partially managed, or a more expandable type of managed dedicated hosting? If you need a hosting plan that is easily expandable then your best bet would be private cloud dedicated hosting.

What is Private Cloud Hosting?

A Private Cloud hosting environment, also known as a Enterprise Cloud, is a dedicated server environment, that combines integrated resource with virtualization technology to bring your full control over the creation and management of several virtual servers within a single set of centralized physical web servers. Because it is a dedicated server environment, you're the only person that has access to the server resources. This means your server performance will be optimal, since all of the tasks being handled by your web server pertain only to your needs.

Public Clouds vs Private Clouds

Most people are familiar with the kind of cloud hosting that employs public clouds, also referred to as shared cloud hosting, or private virtual servers. These public clouds have hundreds and even thousands of other online businesses operating in isolated areas of the same hosting environment.   These clouds have hundreds or even thousands of businesses running in isolated containers within the same physical server environment. There are some cases in which having a public cloud would be more beneficial than having a private cloud, such as smaller business with less needs and a lower budget. However, for a serous online business these server environments present a substantial hindrance that can only be corrected by upgrading to a private cloud environment.

The Revolution of Private Clouds

Private Clouds make it simple to expand your server resources and step into the world of cloud server computing. Every client  is not just virtually separated, but is actually physically located on their own private server environment. Even so, the support for private cloud hosting is that of a fully managed hosting plan. This means you'll have access to stringent security, responsive support, and reliable server management around the clock. Perhaps the most appealing aspect of cloud hosting is the ability to scale so easily, with the option to receive usage-based billing. Private cloud hosting is almost like having a mix of managed hosting, and cloud hosting, without the conventional limitations that are seen with both of those hosting types.

Conclusion

Private cloud hosting is literally the future of the web hosting industry, and every medium-sized business should consider upgrading their managed dedicated servers to a cloud computing environment for maximum convenience, reliability, scalability and security.
