Announcing Multi-Location Hosting
ZNET Technologies Private Limited (previously ZNET India) recently announced it will be able to serve its customers through multi-location hosting which is now available in Indian and United States-based data centers. ZNET Technologies is an industry-leading web hosting provider and information technology infrastructure company. Customers will now be able to select the server location for dedicated, shared, reseller and VPS hosting.
Changes to Integrate the Two Sites
In the past, ZNET was running znet.in from its India-based data center facility. However, the company has made many changes which include the integration of znet.in into znetindia.com which will allow customers to choose their own server location. Luckily, prices will remain the same for both data centers.
Selecting your Server Based on Monthly Plan
The option to select your server is available for Windows and Linux shared hosting packages, Windows and Linux dedicated hosting plans, Windows and Linux VPS and Linux reseller hosting packages. The company will soon be providing this service to Windows reseller customers as well. This will allow them to select an Indian data center as well as the current United States facility.
Improving Flexibility and Target Audience
As a result, customers will be able to migrate their accounts and websites from one location to another for the ultimate flexibility. Also, resellers will be able to target customers in both countries while maintaining a high level of server performance.
Other Additions
Additionally, the company has announced it has plans to partner with CloudLinux and Parallels. In India, ZNET is already a Parallels Gold Partner in order to provide cloud hosting to small businesses through Parallels Plesk Panel 10. Furthermore, ZNET has added Microsoft Silver Server Platform Competency to its lengthy list of awards.
Reason for Expansion
The overall thought process by ZNET is by adding an Indian data center location; Indian customers will have much better performance, efficiency and speed. Therefore, from a webmasters perspective, it will also help improve the target audience by increasing search engine rankings.
This is a major move for an already well-established company. Having two strategically placed data centers half way around the world from one another will allow the company to increase traffic from both countries which will trickle down to their customers who will be able to provide faster, better service. In the long term, the United States-based data center can manage the Western Hemisphere while the Indian-based center can manage the Eastern Hemisphere.
