OK.... I went for ipage because of all the positive reviews online. The weebly drag and drop site builder is very easy to use, but that it about the only positive thing I can say ! I have had a website with ipage for about 6 months now and I am not impressed. My real problems are the very poor customer support and the usability of their websites. I have asked for help a number of times via their 24/7 online chat support, every time has been a complete shambles, I get the impression that the people on the other end don’t know what they are doing and don’t really care about your problems. They don’t listen to what you are saying and then just bombard you with a load of regurgitated standard responses that are just cut and pasted in, often with no relevance to the problems you are asking about. They also ask to put you on hold to “check your account for 3-4 minutes”, again this is nonsense and I have been asked this 2 or 3 times during a conversation when my account has already been well and truly checked ! Either they are too busy to be bothered or they are off making a cup of coffee ! It soon became quickly apparent that the basic package with ipage is rather limited, if you want any more then you will have to pay for it, and it’s not cheap ! There are a couple of standard website features that you see everywhere but ipage simply don’t offer, a slide show in the header bar for example, I explained that I wouldn’t mind paying for this feature but the answer was “it is not possible” ! Also I have tried to enter my business logo at the top of the page, but the template always reduces it to a tiny useless size so I cannot use this feature. So, in summary, if you are looking for a simple basic website then this may work for you, if you are looking for something better and good customer support, I’d forget it. I will be changing my webhosting shortly to a company that are up to the job.......

As a novice in website design I spent many hours in determining which web host I was going to utilize before spending the money to procure the service that a web host provides. I decided to use iPage because of the many extras they provided along with the standard features that other web hosts furnish. Customer service is excellent - from the experience I have had - almost to the point of being annoying. Creating my website was easy, and making changes to it is easy as well.

Everything about iPage is great! Especially the customer service… I had couple of issues and their online chat with tech support is awesome. However, iPage is my first host ever so cannot really compare it to anyone, but i cant imagine any host being significantly better, especially at such a low price.

Hi ! Like a lot of people I looked on the web and stupidly fell for the rhetorical reviews listed on the main Google listings regarding the service I page provide. As a novice I got sucked in by the rhetoric. First of all I paid for a jump start service costing nearly £15 if you include the VAT. This involves (i page) setting up a temporary card and email for you while you are getting you site sorted. This never happened, they never did it. Then having access to the control panel found out that the automatic billing for renewal doubles the cost the following year. There is no mention of this on the sign up. When trying to call you on the phone I was often left for some considerable time prior to getting an answer. Most of the services like fast data and security software are billed separate which is not clear on the site 100% money back guaranteed promise. If you want to use the Weebly software on the site you can have 6 pages but to upgrade it will cost you nearly £15 month for this on the I page site “Extortion” as you can get a Free 6 page site and upgrade direct from Weebly much cheaper It cost me £119 in total with jumpstart service and security software and having been totally disgusted by the service for the above reasons requested a refund. They sent back £20:86. They can argue the small print all they like, the fact is that they have taken £98 of my money and I am now left with very little for it. I no longer want anything to do with this company their business morals are appalling.

Before using ipage, I had no experience creating websites. I have been very satisfied with how easy ipage is to use, and have since switched websites for two local organizations, a family business, and a personal business to ipage. I can create professional pages with great features without spending the time to learn html. I have received multiple compliments on the sites. And the sites are quick & easy to update.
