Host-ed Inc Plans
Our VIrtual Private Server (VPS) package is just like a dedicated server only that it is part of it. You share this server with a few other users, get separate control log in and separate operation system. You will have root access and can host unlimited domains. Unlike in the shared hosting the resources (disk space, traffic, RAM, CPU and etc) are guaranteed. Your site performance will no longer be affected by other users hosted on the server and your site will not affect other sites hosted on the server. Our service is upgradable, so that at any time you only pay for resources that you need. For example if your site needs more disk space and less other server resources you can only order upgrade of you disk space. Whith that flexible upgrade options you can easily adjust a configuration similar to a dedicated server with no need to pay for the unnecessary resources of the predefined dedicated servers that other hosts offer. Our VPS packages are suitable for high ranking sites.

They have been supporting me quite well for some time and now I guess it is time to support them by writing this review. During the time I've been using my service I cannot say that I had any serious issues. The few times I needed tech support they answered me quite fast and detailed. Server is performing well and and is rarely down. In fact I don't remember the server being down. There were a few times when it was lagging, but was nothing serious and was fixed in less then an hour. Overall conclusion is that they are if not the most reliable hosting provider one of the most reliable hosting providers out there

Originally I am from Germany, but we have a clinic When we first saw host-ed.net we were impressed with the good online reputation this company had. So we sent a payment for our web site for 2 years of hosting plan and a domain name. When these guys saw that we are having a charity related site they decided that they will give us both the hosting a new domain name for 4 years and will return our payment. That was really noble and was really helpful for us since we now saved some money to put into our charity project for the Liberian people.

Frankly, I expected less from Host-ed. I can't say why. Maybe because I remember reading a negative review some place. Fact is the company is very good. If you check the site you will see the data center is in Germany but optimized for both Europe and North America which is just the coverage I was looking for. Now both european and american google versions index my site well. If you are a SEO specialist you can use them with great success.
