Misleading Service

I read about FatCow on several websites that listed Java Servlet Web Hosting. I signed up for a couple years on FatCow based on those reviews. However, they don't support Java Web Hosting. Not at all. So, after waiting an hour on the phone (I had to call back a few times after being transferred) I finally was able to cancel the account. However, they charge me $15. I never used the account. They used misleading advertising to get me to signup, and then, before I can even use it, I get charged $15. Horrible.
I don't recommend this web host!

I have used fatcow for business, personal organizations, and my personal site and I have had nothing but great experiences. My business site has been up about three years and is maintained by myself and my employees. Fatcow has had no issue working with me or my employees when a problem or question has occurred. I am not routed to another country or to someone I can’t understand. The online help is great too. I developed a site for a local organization and it has been just as easy to work with. I recommend fatcow to anyone and everyone, every chance I get.

Two years ago I ' ve choosen FatCow ' cause i' m a farmer. A farmer in Italia south-central. You know what does it mean? It means problems, a lot of problems, always problems. And the only way to solve 'em is to put the head of a dead horse in the bed of the guy who gives you problems. So stressy. But with FatCow I have no problems, it' s like to be in heaven. Their techical support is efficient and they know when is time to leave the cannoli and take the gun. We are now like a Family and if they ask me for help I take it personal. Recommended to all the buddiez out there.

First time web developer, just fell off the HTML textbook, and this was my playground. The Fatcow interface was easy to get used to. Some difficulty with response time in accessing my pages - it may be my DSL connection speed, but it can take 2 minutes between requesting a folder, and having the folder open. I did not opt for the higher priced faster servers, because this is just a learning experience. Since I got the service about six months ago, I have never seen my site go down. Seems competitively priced and more features than I know what to do with.
