Bluehost has real cheap prices. Their knowledge base is pretty good. You will need the knowledge base for self help.In the long run, it is very expensive. I hosted with them for a few weeks. They moved my files to a slower server. No problem, I thought. In the process, they lost my files. If that was not bad enough, they set the wrong permissions on the files. Stay away from them.

I HAD BlueHost until yesterday. BlueHost told me the only way to solve my problem was to go to another web hosting company. Websites were down, emails were lost. ... The tech guys said it had something to do with the Internet not accepting my IP address even though it had not been blacklisted. And, the only way to get a new IP address was to change to another company. BlueHost informed me that it was up to me to inform the Internet that I was not getting my emails!!! I understand that BlueHost was recently purchased by another company which owns about 20 other web hosting companies. So, it doesn't matter who you use; you are getting the same company.
I don't recommend this web host!

I can't say enough good things about BlueHost.com. I have transferred all our clients from another hosting company who I was affiliated with for several years. The difference is night and day. Formerly, after 5PM PST and over the weekends, there was no way to get any help of speak to anyone in case of a problem. BlueHost techs are truly there 24/7 and eager to help. The billing is crystal clear, and the affiliate program really works. It's the best hosting company and quality / price ratio anywhere. BlueHost has my vote - 100%!!

Used to be great... now and in the last few months the speed and throughput and uptime really is the pits. How can my server be down so often? Bough into multiple years to save money but have decided to move on and loose the savings.

I've been with Bluehost for over 1 year. The support is otherworldly. Once i sent a question and the reply came back in 20 seconds!!! The average reply time to my questions (probably about 50) was about 5 min.
I recommend this web host!
